 LAST DAY OF INTERNSHIP Date: 22.01.2025 Place: L. K. Higher Secondary School,             Kayalpattinam.       The last day of a school internship involves expressing gratitude, getting feedback, updating your resume with new skills, and planning next career steps, often ending with a farewell to your supervisor and colleagues, ensuring you leave on a positive note for future references. For teaching internships, it's about saying goodbye to students and teachers, while corporate internships focus on networking and formalizing your achievements. 

 NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME - NSS Date: 22.01.2026 Place: Kayalpattinam       National Service Scheme. It is a central sector scheme of the Government of India, launched in 1969 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to involve student youth in community service, social welfare, and nation-building activities. 

 ACHIEVEMENT TEST Date: 12.01.2026      An achievement test in school is a standardized or teacher-made assessment designed to measure a student's acquired knowledge, skills, and academic progress in specific subjects (e.g., reading, math, science) following instruction. These tests evaluate mastery of curriculum standards, guide educational placement, and identify learning needs

 HALF YEARLY EXAMINATION   Date: December 15 to 23, 2025 Place: L. K. Higher Secondary School, Kayalpattinam. 15.12.2025 - English 17.12.2025 - Tamil 19.12.2025 - Maths 22.12.2025 - Science  23.12.2025 - Social Science  The Students have written these exams on those days and all are achieved good scores.

 CYBERCRIME AWARENESS PROGRAM Date: 11.12.2025 Place: School Auditorium       Cybercrime awareness is educating users about digital threats like phishing, malware, and scams, teaching them to use strong passwords, enable multi-factor authentication (MFA), update software, recognize suspicious links/attachments, secure social media, and use VPNs on public Wi-Fi to protect personal data and finances, preventing significant losses by fostering a culture of vigilance and safe online behavior. 

 SECOND MID-TERM EXAMINATION  DATE: 17-11- 25 to 21-11-25           Second mid-term examination conducted on Nov 17 to 25 -11-25. All students attend the examination very well.

 DRUGS AWARENESS PROGRAM Date: 18.11.2025 Place: L. K. Higher Secondary School,              Kayalpattinam.               Programs on drugs and alcohol addiction is conducted amongst Schools, Colleges, Industries and communities. These programs are customised according to the program participants and are aimed towards minimizing the abuse of drugs & alcohol encouraging addicts/dependents to access treatment.

 MEDICAL CAMP Date: October 15, 2025 Place: L. K. Higher Secondary School, Kayalpattinam.                                         A medical camp provides free healthcare to underserved communities, offering basic checkups, consultations, diagnostics (BP, sugar), free medicines, health education, and referrals for serious issues, bridging gaps in access for rural/slum dwellers through temporary clinics run by NGOs or hospitals, focusing on general health, women/child care, or specific diseases like cataracts. 

 DIAGNOSTIC TEST Date: 08.10.2025                   A diagnostic test in school is a low-stakes pre-assessment to identify students' existing knowledge, strengths, weaknesses, and learning gaps before instruction begins, allowing teachers to tailor lessons, plan differentiated instruction, provide targeted support, and prevent boredom by avoiding already mastered material. These tests offer detailed insights, not just grades, guiding personalized learning and curriculum refinement for individual needs.

 FIRST DAY OF INTERNSHIP Date: 08.09.2025 Place: L. K. Higher Secondary School,             Kayalpattinam.      The first day of a teacher internship is a significant milestone focused on making a strong first impression, understanding school culture, and establishing professional rapport with staff and students. 

 II SEMESTER EXAMINATION  DATE: 23.08.25 to 29.08.25          Our 2nd semester exams are held on those days and all are achieved good scores. 23 - 08 - 25 - Child rights and Protection  25 - 08 - 25 - Assessment for learning  26 - 08 - 25 - Environmental Education  28 - 08 - 25 - School management and administration  29 -08 - 25 - pedagogy of mathematics 

 STUDENTS INDUCTION PROGRAMME  DATE: 20.08.2025                            On that day, at the multipurpose hall of our college, we welcomed our first year students in a good manner. Our principal Dr. R. Sasipriya mam gave welcome speech to our beloved first year students. Finally the day fullfill with happy and jolyful.

 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION  DATE: 15.08.2025           On that day we are celebrated 79 th INDEPENDENCE DAY in our college campus. The program started in Tamilthaii vazhthuu sung by B. Ed students. Flag hoisting was done by our beloved principal mam Dr. T. Sasipriya. The principle gave few words about independence day. Our B. Ed students gave speech and poetry about independence day. I conducted MASTER OF CEREMONY for the program. Finally the program was ended up with national anthem.

 TEACHER DEMONSTRATION CLASS Date : 12.08.2025 Teacher Educators : 1.Dr. T. Uma mam 2.Dr. H. Gayathri mam 3.Mr. S. Rajamanickavasagam sir 4.Mr. E. Alwin sir           The Teacher educators demonstrated the way of teaching by teaching lessons in their own style using various working and non-working aids. The style and quality of the teaching of the teacher educators should be taken as a role model for the teaching that has to be done in school internship. Do's and don'ts of teaching, handling of classroom, how to deliver content properly were explained during this demonstration class.

 3rd SEMESTER ORIENTATION PROGRAMME    Date :  11.08.2025      Our 3rd semester starts on 11th August 2025. Orientation program for this semester was given by our Principal Dr. R. Sasipriya mam for around 73 students - teachers along with all the teaching staffs gathered in the multi-purpose hall. The principal mam gave the welcome speech and explained about 3rd semester practical procedures one by one through power point presentation. It was very useful to us to get clear knowledge about practical procedures followed in school and practical viva.

  SMART LIBRARY : 24/7 STUDY PARTNER Date : 31.07.2025 Chief Guest : Dr. S. Soruba kumari , Librarian, Dr.Sivathi Aditanar college of education ,Tiruchendur.  Usage :                  This programme was organized to learn more about the library and its features. The chief guest demonstrated the different smart library resources like DELNET and PressReader to simplify life for the student teachers.

 2nd MODEL EXAMINATION  Date : 24.07.2025 to 30.07.2025 Usage :                  The Model Examination was conducted on those days for all subjects by our college. In this we all completed full portion of all the subjects and all secured better results in those subjects.  INSTITUTIONS INNOVATION COUNCIL - 5th ANNIVERSARY OF NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY - 2020 Date : 29.07.2025 Chief Guest : Dr. D. Jeyaseelan Selvakumar Usage :                  The Institution Innovation Council was organized to introduce different methods of educating students, and the chief guest explained the NEP and its benefits through a PowerPoint presentation.

 EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY  Date: 15.07.2025 Usage :        The Educational Development day is celebrated in the rememberance of the former chief minister K.Kamarajar. Elocution competition is conducted and prizes were given. A group of student teachers sang a song and one of the student teachers performed a classical dance
